United waited until the sixty-fifth minute before they made wholsale substitutions. Suslove replaced goalkeeper Mark Beeney, Alan Maybury replaced Gary Kelly at Right Back, Andy Couzens replace Harry Kewell at Left Back, Robert Bowman came on for David Wetherall at Centre Half and Paul Beesley took over from Richard Jobson at Left Half. While in the Forwards Martin Foster came on at Outside Right for Mark Ford, Lucas Radebe took over from Andy Gray at Inside Right, Ian Rush was replaced by Rod Wallace at Centre Forward and Mark Tinkler replaced Lee Bowyer at Outside Left.
